DPU Cards

Each DPU in the product line includes four time-tested, proven Motorola 56K Series DSP processing chips. Three I/O options are available including CobraNet, Analog or AES/EBU.

DPU Card - MM-DSP-RJ

The MM™-DSP-RJ provides 32 inputs and 32 outputs of audio I/O, and processes at 24-bits. The MM-DSP-RJ includes processing and I/O support for up to four of the MM-8802 Break-out Boxes using EIA/TIA 568 standard RJ-45 terminated CAT 5 cables (up to 50 feet (15.25 M)).

DPU Card - MM-DSP-CN II

The MM™-DSP-CNII card is equipped with an RJ-45 100Base TX Ethernet port for connection to CobraNet devices via a switched ethernet network. The MM-DSP-CNII card can provide up to 32 digital audio channel inputs and 32 digital audio channel outputs via CobraNet.   New features of the CN II card include support for more physical CobraNet devices on one network and the optional ability to create more than four unicast CobraNet bundles of less than eight audio channels (up to 16 bundle transmitters or 16 bundle receivers), ideal for use with CobraNet power amplifiers.

DPU Card - MM-DSP-AES

The MM™-DSP-AES card provides sixteen AES3 inputs and sixteen AES3 outputs (for a total of 32 input and 32 output analog audio channels).  The MM-DSP-AES card is equipped with sample-rate converters terminated by two DB-37 connectors.  The optional 16 XT provides a convenient break-out from DB-37 to detachable Euro connectors.  In addition, the 16 XT provides isloation transformers for AES/EBU standards compliance.
